With your help, in only 10 months – mid-January to mid-November 2024 –  120 pounds of disposable vapes were recycled correctly as electronics (30 pounds also stopped to a research department on their way to recycling) – instead of ending up in the landfill! 30 pounds in the first 4 months, 30 pounds in 3 months, then 30 pounds in 2 months, and most lately, 30 pounds in 1 month! Does it mean that more people know about the box, or perhaps that people vape more?

02/02/25 Update -> Around 30 pounds of vapes went again to recycling for electronics. When emptying the container, one vape stood out as it had something on it handwritten with a marker. It was a note from the vaper to themselves saying, “Things that harm me.” Long story short, this moved me; so, I left a message on the box, asking them to contact me. I am mentioning it here since I want to explain myself to this person; there is no space left for more text on the recycling box. -> I did not want to be intrusive. I know from my experience as an ex-tobacco addict who once struggled at the thought of quitting, that the harm can stop. And I would love to gift them the book. (Most people are in a hurry & probably don’t notice the QR code on the box, so this person might not even know that the book exists. I hope they see this & I hope they quit vaping .)

March 2025 Update – 180 pounds of vapes recycled so far via the collection box at the refillery store 💚🌎🍀.
